Welcome to STEM Plus Tutoring! I received my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin. I taught AP Biology and served as the Science Department Chair for my school in Austin, Texas. I am certified in 7-12 Composite Science and English as a Second Language and have 6 years of experience in the classroom. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in STEM Education at the University of Texas at Austin.
My favorite part of teaching is building relationships with students and helping them tap into their full potential. Collaborating with students to address their learning needs and watching them open doors of opportunity is so rewarding!
